The Latin American and Caribbean Collection [LACC] at the University of Florida is internationally recognized as a premier research site for scholars and students of the region. Home to hundreds of thousands of books, journals and primary-source materials such as archival newspapers, LACC adds new works, including those published in Latin America and Europe, on a constant basis. Just downstairs from LACC in Library East, researchers can find unique archives that span the colonial period of the Americas through the Latin American experience of the Cold War. LACC and Special Collections also offer an extremely helpful staff. Users will find that their human resources are as boundless as their historical and contemporary scholarly ones.
